 Ocala's Silver River Chapter is hosting the 2011 Winter national meeting. Our theme is Spring Break , it will coincide with the beginning of bike week in Daytona Beach, FL. Twice a year, Women In The Wind from all over the nation gather somewhere in the country to ride, share fun and friendship. In 2002 the Silver River Chapter hosted the Winter National Meeting. The highlights of the meeting included a 100-mile ride through Ocala's beautiful horse country, a catered lunch and a glass bottom boat ride on the Silver River, a lively banquet complete with a hilarious indoor version of "Cow Patty Bingo", awards, and plenty of hugs and kisses. |
