The Silver River Chapter was started in May 2000 when Nancy Ihasz, a charter member of the Bay Area chapter in Tampa, moved to Ocala. A new chapter was born. The Silver River Chapter holds monthly meetings, monthly rides, attends local and national motorcycle events and supports many charities. Membership is open to women who own and or operate any make motorcycle. Members must hold a lawful motorcycle driving endorsement or permit. Membership dues for the national organization are $20.00 and local chapter membership dues are $10.00 annually. Members receive Shootin' The Breeze newsletter, a small logo patch, and a membership card that may entitle you to discounts, and the ability to purchase many other logo items.
